What is Revolut?

Revolut functions as a fintech company, offering a mobile application that facilitates various financial activities. These include sending money to friends, managing finances, accessing travel benefits, and investing in stocks and cryptocurrencies. Users can also save money in a vault, earning a daily interest rate of 1.67% annually.

The company provides a no-cost plan (standard) with the only charge being for a physical debit card. Additionally, users can generate a virtual card within their account, along with a disposable virtual card for short-term use. Opting for a paid plan (plus, premium, or metal) unlocks additional advantages like airport lounge access, medical insurance, and reduced fees. Paid plans also grant the option to customize physical cards with various designs, colors, and materials.

Revolut’s user interface is intuitive, supporting multi-currency accounts to eliminate the need for currency exchange when spending abroad. This feature ensures immediate visibility of transactions within the app whenever the card is used. Topping up one’s account is simple, allowing direct transfers from external banks or even receiving income like salaries or freelance earnings.
